Hello!
It’s been awhile. Seems like I’m always starting this newsletter that way, but this time, I have a good excuse.
Stella Peyton Stevens was born on July 7, about a month ahead of schedule and a tiny 3.8 pounds. She’s been growing like crazy and is now almost 9 pounds and an absolute delight.
You won’t see many more photos of her here (I am so glad social media didn’t exist when I was a kid), but you will hear about us learning to travel with a baby. In her three months of life so far she’s taken the train to Rome and gone on road trips to Croatia and all over northern Italy.
When I was pregnant, everyone told us to travel as much as possible before she can walk, and that’s what we intend to do. I’ll be writing about it here, in the section called ‘Be a Better Traveler–With Kids.’ If you don’t have kids or don’t care about this topic, please feel free to unsubscribe from this section. I know I would have before I had a baby. You can learn how to unsubscribe from sections without unsubscribing from the whole newsletter here. (You can also subscribe only to this section if that’s your preference.)
I am, obviously, not an expert yet. So think of this more as a learning with me newsletter. And if you have tips, please share them in the comments!
And don’t worry. The regular newsletter will also resume next week, with more grown up travel advice, thoughts, and destination guides.
Looking forward to sharing more soon!

I’m looking forward to following you in your adventures with Miss Stella ❤️
